General Contest Rules
No purchase necessary. Only one entry per household. 90.3 AMP Radio contests are open to residents of Canada, eighteen (18) years of age or older, excluding residents of Quebec and those who are employees, or co-habitants of employees, agents or immediate family members of 90.3 AMP Radio, Newcap Broadcasting Inc. (“Newcap”), Promoter and their respective advertising and promotional agencies.
The decision of the contest judges is final. The prize package must be accepted as awarded. No portion of the prize is transferable. The prize is not redeemable for cash and no substitute for any portion of the prize is offered. No telephone contact or other correspondence will be entered into except with the winning entrant(s). The winner has thirty (30) days (unless otherwise instructed by 90.3 AMP Radio) from the time the prize is available to pick up the prize, failing which the prize may be forfeited.
All winners of any prize with a retail value in excess of $500.00 will be required to answer a mathematical skill testing question. To be declared a winner the Participant must correctly answer the following multi-step mathematical question:
Step 1: 103 + 618 =
Step 2: Take the answer from Step 1 x 7 =
Step 3: Take the answer from Step 2 – 515 =
Step 4: Take the answer from Step 3 ÷ 44 =
Any ground transportation, all meals and/all extraordinary expenses, including but not limited to beverages, not expressly listed as part of the contest prize shall be the sole financial responsibility of the prize winner, and the prize winner shall not seek reimbursement for same from 90.3 AMP Radio, Newcap, the Promoter, their agents and/or suppliers of the service.
By entering a contest, the entrant confirms that he/she has read and understood these contest rules and regulations, and that the prize winners agree that they will sign a standard form releasing 90.3 AMP Radio, Newcap, the Promoter, Sponsors their agents and/or suppliers of service, and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, agents and their respective advertising and promotional agencies (collectively “Releasees”), from any and all liability arising in connection with this contest, including without limitation, liability arising from the acceptance of the Prize (s) as awarded and confirming compliance with contest rules.
All entries shall become the property of 90.3 AMP Radio, Newcap, and the Promoters. Releasees assume no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected entries or for any failure or technical malfunction of the telephone lines, electronic mail, websites during the contest period. Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are mechanically reproduced, falsified, fraudulent, altered or tampered with in any way. In the event of “enter to win” contesting 90.3 AMP Radio is not responsible for illegible handwriting, lost or mutilated ballots and/or incomplete ballots. All entrants agree to abide by the Contest Rules, which are final.
By entering the contest, each entrant, and particularly the prize winner consents to the use of his/her name, city of residence, photograph, voice and/or image for any publicity and programming purposes, commercial or otherwise, in all media used by 90.3 AMP Radio, Newcap, the Promoter, and their respective advertising and promotional agencies, without any payment or compensation. Prizewinner agrees to sign a waiver and release to this effect and further agrees that his / her audio reaction may be used for on-air promotional purposes.
90.3 AMP Radio, Newcap, and the Promoter reserve the right to substitute prizes, including the aircraft, airline, hotel, destination and any component of the prize for those of approximately the same retail value and reserve the right to terminate or withdraw this contest at any time, without prior notice. Releasees are not responsible for any damage, loss, inconvenience or injury suffered by the participant or prize winners due to any changes, substitution, rescheduling, or for any reason whatsoever.
This contest is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all Federal, Provincial and Municipal laws and regulations of Canada and Alberta respectively.
